Mountain Valley Little League is an official Little League-affiliated program for boys and girls aged 4-12 residing within the boundaries of the Onteora Central School District, primarily in the towns of Woodstock, Olive, Shandaken, West Hurley and parts of Hurley, NY. Baseball and softball divisions include Tee-ball, Coach Pitch Minors, Kid Pitch Minors, and Majors. Games (varies by division) are played at the following locations: Grant Avery Park (Shokan), Rick Volz Field (Woodstock),  Glenbrook Park (Shandaken), and Davis Park (Olivebridge). 

The regular season runs April through June, with Little League All-Stars occurring over several weeks during the summer (June-July). Baseball division levels are typically T-ball (4-6 years old), Coach Pitch Minors (7-8 years old), Kid Pitch Minors (9-11 years old) and Majors (12 yrs old). The Little League age chart can be used to determine what division your child should be registered for. Players can be placed in other divisions based upon coach/parent discretion.
